We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to:

• manage virtual, cloud, and hybrid/multi-cloud environments. Provision infrastructure components and services to meet the evolving needs of users and service providers.
• use containerization technologies to enhance application deployment and scalability.
• automate tasks through scripting, coding, orchestration tools, and infrastructure-as-code practices including the CI/CD pipeline.
• ensure the quality, security, reliability, and compliance of our solutions by applying UBS digital principles.
• apply a broad range of software engineering practices, from analyzing & developing new features to automation testing, code scanning for vulnerabilities, and deployments.
• build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
• collaborate with development and platform teams to onboard platform requirements. Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues , help with hiring, and contribute regularly to our engineering culture and internal communities.

Your expertise

• bachelor or masters degree (or equivalent) with 8 plus years of professional experience in the industry. Preferably worked in DevOps areas for last few years.
• interested in learning new technologies and practices, reuse strategic platforms and standards, evaluate options, and make decisions with long-term sustainability in mind
• strong understanding of software development principles and practices.
• proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• experience with cloud platforms ( e.g. Azure).
• familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• knowledge of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet).
• strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• excellent communication and collaboration skills.
